41. The importance of strong relationships in the wedding industry with Harpist Harriet Flather

My first guest of the new year is Harpist supremo and a much-valued member of The Wedding Business Club, Harriet Flather. 

Having joined The Wedding Business Club in Jan 2020 I’ve been lucky enough to witness some of the friendships Harriet has struck up within the club, and in today’s episode, we discuss the importance of making connections and how key building relationships can be in this industry. 

Harriet has some brilliant do’s and don’ts when it comes to connecting with suppliers and couples, how she finds common ground with new people, and how those extra touches can go a long way to building trust with new clients. 

We’ll also take a look at how Harriet learnt to play the harp and built a career as a professional musician, how she has launched a second business and what she absolutely loves about working in the wedding industry.
